
Kirsten Sayers is Australia’s Senior Trade Commissioner to Singapore and ASEAN Team Leader for Clean Energy and Environment, and Creative Industries.
Kirsten has international business experience in a range of public and private sector roles. Her strengths include marketing, law, business development, alliance management, and leadership in an international business environment.
Kirsten has held appointments as Senior Trade Commissioner in Paris – with responsibility also for Monaco, Belgium and Luxembourg, as Trade Commissioner in Thailand and the Greater Mekong, and as Trade Director in Taiwan. In Australia she pioneered Austrade’s national corporate partnerships and was State Manager in Victoria.
Before joining Austrade, Kirsten was a commercial solicitor specialising in Asian and international trade law.
Kirsten has had wide involvement in business and industry associations in Australia, Asia and Europe, and has authored and presented many papers.
Her educational qualifications include a Master of Laws in Comparative and International Trade Law, a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts, and studies at the East China Institute of Politics and Law, the University of Aix-Marseilles, France, the Beijing and Taipei Language Institutes, and the Hanoi Foreign Language University.Kirsten speaks French, Mandarin, Norwegian, Swedish, and Vietnamese to various degrees.

Cheryl is Trade Commissioner and ASEAN Industry Team Leader for
information & communications technology (ICT). She has been with Austrade
since the early 1990s and during this time, has held positions as Trade
Commissioner, Osaka, Japan; Regional Manager - Strategic Client Services,
South East Asia, South Asia and Pacific; Regional Information Manager,
South East Asia; and Manager Japan Business in Austrade's Sydney office.
Prior to joining Austrade, Cheryl held various marketing and business
development positions in both the private and public sector, and has over 15
years experience working in Asia. Cheryl is a University of Canberra graduate
in Japanese and Economics.

Guek Hong leads the Austrade Singapore Food and Beverage (F & B) team, and works closely with colleagues in Austrade's ASEAN F & B network. She has been the driving force behind bringing in the best of Australia's F & B products to Singapore consumers since the mid 1980s. Her many achievements include establishing the now-ubiquitous Australian F & B promotion displays in major Singapore supermarkets, and boosting the profile of Australian wines to a position where Singapore is now Australia's largest wine market in Southeast Asia.
In 2006, Guek Hong was conferred the prestigious ORDER OF AUSTRALIA Honorary Award by the Australian Government for her exceptional contribution to helping Australian F & B exporters achieve significant success in Singapore over the past 20 years. She is a Business Administration graduate from the National University of Singapore. 
Rekha has a firm background in the hospitality industry, with a strong track record in sales and various marketing functions. She began her career in banquet and conference sales and also has experience in advertising sales and marketing. Her previous position with a government trade promotion agency has equipped her with invaluable experience in international marketing and business development. She graduated from the Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore, India with a Diploma in Hotel Management. She also has a Degree in Business Administration (Marketing) from La Trobe University, Australia. 
Margaret contributes to the business development function for by ensuring prompt response to all marketing queries related to food & beverage and agribusiness. Within the Food & Beverage Team, she is a key player in updating and maintaining client and customer databases, and also works together with team members to organise trade and visit events both in Singapore and Australia. 
Mr Ong's business development portfolio covers industrial products, infrastructure projects and IPOs (International Purchasing Offices) of MNCs in the oil, gas, chemical and petrochemical industries. He has been with the organisation for almost 30 years. Mr Ong has an engineering background and has extensive marketing experience at both a regional and international level.

Irene's industry focus is in the Infrastructure sector. A broad but interesting area, her role covers market development and sourcing of opportunities for Australian companies in building and construction, including landscape architecture, and garden design. She also works closely with clients in the sporting industry, providing support in market intelligence and information. Over her six years in Austrade, Irene has cultivated a strong and established network of industry contacts initially in the food & beverage area, before moving on to the infrastructure sector. Prior to joining Austrade, she has also worked in sales and marketing positions in both the private and public sector. She is a business graduate of RMIT University. 
Diana's key area of industry focus is in information and communications technology (ICT), with secondary responsibility for the Financial Services sector. She draws greatly from her international business consultancy, market research and strategy development skills to support and facilitate business development partnerships between Australian and Singapore companies in these areas. Over the 15 years she has been with Austrade Singapore, she has also developed an extensive network of industry contacts in the international community and acquired a wellspring of knowledge for sectors under her purview. Diana has undergraduate and postgraduate qualifications from USA and the UK.

Janice's experience in Austrade spans across sectors and region. She is currently part of the ASEAN Education & Business Services Team, responsible for the promotion of Australian Education, Business Services and Financial Industries capability in Singapore. During her time with Austrade, she had successfully developed the Corporate Training, Creative Arts & Franchising sectors in Singapore for Australian companies in addition to overseeing the Health & Non-food Consumer sectors. Janice has also completed short term assignments in Austrade Darwin and Sydney, and most recently, Austrade HCMC in Vietnam. Prior to joining Austrade, she held regional sales & marketing positions in multinational companies of world renowned consumer products based in Singapore. 
Christopher's wide-ranging sectors of responsibility include the following: marine, defence, clean energy & environment, aerospace, automotive, rail, emergency services, and civil defence. He is a mechanical engineer by training. Prior to joining Austrade in the mid-1990s, he had more than 10 years' experience in industrial marketing in the private sector. His previous work experience covered all the sectors under his current portfolio. Christopher has a post graduate degree in Technology Management from Griffith University in Australia.

Mark covers the Agribusiness & Consumer sectors and has been with Austrade Singapore since Jan 2002. He draws his experience from a background of business development / key account management and had headed a team of marketing staff prior to joining Austrade. Mark has developed a strong business network in various aspects of the Agribusiness & Consumer Portfolio and constantly seeks out new opportunities for Australian companies. Mark graduated with a Business Administration degree (with Distinction) specializing in International Marketing from RMIT University.

Chin Ee joined Austrade in Jan 2005 and brings with her a strong sales and marketing background from various industries in the private sector, including specialty chemicals, food, and engineering plastics. At Austrade, she focuses mainly on business development in the health, biotech and wellbeing industry, particularly in seeking new and niche opportunities for Australian companies and establishing a network of allies within the Singapore market. Chin Ee graduated with a Master of Mass Communication degree from Nanyang Technological University.

Sherleen's current portfolio is in the Creative Industries sector. This includes the arts, design, entertainment and media. Her secondary portfolio is Franchise services. Prior working with Austrade, Sherleen had worked in both the public and private sector. Armed with a wealth of knowledge in the contract and procurement arena, Sherleen was tasked to add value to SAFTA (Singapore-Australia Free Trade Agreement) in relation to government procurement that cuts across key sectors including Technology/Infrastructure and Consumer Services/Products. Sherleen graduated from the University of New South Wales and obtained her Masters degree in Building from the National University of Singapore.

Luisa has extensive experience in business development and investment promotion, having been a key member of former Australian federal government investment agency, Invest Australia. In her current role, Luisa is responsible for driving the investment strategy for South East Asia including promoting Australia, identifying and attracting direct investment to Australia.
Luisa was previously Chief Representative for the Victorian Government Business Office in Nanjing, China, a role which included state government representation and investment attraction.
Before her China posting, Luisa worked as an Investment Manager in Melbourne, managing investment activities relating to China and North Asia.
Luisa is an Australian permanent resident and has a Bachelor of Engineering degree, a diploma and a Master of Business Administration degree from Monash University.

Oliver joined Austrade from Invest Australia in July 2008 and is responsible for assisting South East Asian companies to invest in productive operations in Australia, focusing on the ICT, biotechnology, water/environment and energy sectors.
He has a background in industry and export development in Australia covering the aerospace, defence, advanced manufacturing, nanotechnology and business services sectors. He has helped to develop Australian Government innovation and commercialisation programs.
Oliver has degrees in Economics and Biomedical Science from the University of Queensland, and is currently pursuing an MBA degree.
